Replacing the H8127 igniter in a Whitfield or Lennox/ IronStrike Montage pellet stove:
1. Unplug the stove
2. Remove the rear service panel
3. Remove the auger motor from the shaft and remove auger mounting plate
4. On some models and the tools you may be using, the igniter can also be accessed from the left side by removing the room blower
5. Locate the igniter under the hopper, it will have white braided wires
6. Disconnect wires from old igniter and remove the igniter from the stove
7. using a 5/8" wrench, loosen igniter fitting by turning it CCW
8. There will be a red wire with a black cap attached to the igniter wires, this is an inline fuse and must be checked. If the fuse is blown, replace it.
9. Reinstall all items in the reverse order.
